Developments over the last decade in the fight against criminal phenomena have shown that the pioneering development and coupling of forensic and IT methods can significantly improve the investigation of criminal offenses and offer new opportunities to clarify backgrounds and uncover connections. Ongoing technological change is constantly creating new challenges that make it necessary to drive forward modern research and development, teaching and practical applications, as well as training and further education in information processing and security at a high level.
We are facing up to these challenges.
The Forensics working group releases around 100 science graduates onto the job market annually. Our graduates are particularly sought after by the authorities. It is not only the excellent teaching that makes studying at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences worthwhile but also the collaborative atmosphere and numerous opportunities to gain additional qualifications that ensure our good reputation in the industry and with the authorities.
