Prof. Dr. Matthias Heckel received his certificate of appointment on May 5, 2025. As a part-time professor, he will contribute his in-depth scientific expertise and many years of practical experience in the field of white-collar crime to teaching and research. Prof. Heiko Rittelmeier joined the faculty on March 3, 2025. With his professional background as head of the “Digital Forensics Services” department at the Central Office for Information Technology in the Security Sector (ZITiS) in Munich, he complements the profile of the department, particularly in the practical training of students at the university. Both professorships are part-time positions and will contribute significantly to the further development of the “General and Digital Forensics” program in an application-oriented and forward-looking manner.
