The tenth symposium for teachers and/or researchers in computer science at universities and academies of the police forces will take place from April 23-24, 2025 at the DHPol in Münster-Hiltrup. The primary goal of the symposium is to exchange research in police informatics/information technology. Members of universities and academies of police forces from Germany and abroad are invited to submit contributions from current projects or selected study and research topics. Practitioners are encouraged to present selected cases. In cooperation with the company “esri”, the Police Informatics Prize is awarded for the best lecture on a work created during studies. Students and graduates of police degree programs and those with a security focus are encouraged to submit one-page summaries of current work and to indicate the application in the cover letter of the submission. The prize can only be awarded to candidates who are present. In 2024, Paul David Langsam was honored for his contribution “Technology Radar” by Michael Mundt from the company “esri”. Interested employees of the federal and state police forces and foreign police authorities can register for the conference. The organizer reserves the right to refuse registrations in individual cases.
